Day 1: Melbourne - Ballarat - Hamilton - Mt Gambier
Depart from Extragreen Holiday's Office at 8:30AM, and travel up the Western Highway from Melbourne to Ballarat - Victoria's largest inland city and is famous as the site of the worlds largest deposit of alluvial gold. Admire the city's Victorian and Edwardian architecture, parks, gardens, statues, and churches. Then move on to the West, travel along Highway to Hamilton. Originally names Grange Burn, the squatters and their wool were of great economic and social importance to the growth of the town. Around its commercial heart is a number of gracious public buildings and homes. After lunch (own expenses) move on to Mt Gambier. Commence city tour, walk to the Historic Centenary Tower, which was opened in 1904 to commemorate the first sighting of Mount Gamier by Lt. Grant on the Lady Nelson in 1800. Being the highest point in the district, it commands magnificent views of the Crater Lakes, the city, surrounding district including a coastal outlook. Overnight stay in Mt Gambier.

Day 2: Mt Gambier - Kingston - Adelaide
Morning depart from hotel, proceed to the Blue Lake for drive around the rim of the Blue Lake crater, stopping at the parking area near Rook Wall. Here there are several vantage points to view Leg of Mutton Lake and Blue Lake. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Valley Lake Crater, a walk through the Wildlife Park and Boardwalk. Then depart for Kingston Se - Referred to as the 'Gateway to the South East', Kingston is a coastal town nestled on the picturesque waters on Laccapede Bay. Head to see the Big Lobster. It's 17 metres high and weights four tonnes! You'll find displays of beer, wine, local produce. Rock Lobster and souvenirs. You can also buy cooked lobster. We also visit the Lacapede Seafood which has been operational since 1988 in the formally SAFCOL Factory. There after tour move on to Adelaide, the City has earned a well-deserved 'green' reputation, with a large number of environmentally-friendly initiatives and visitor experiences. Upon arrival we will visit the sea side Suburb - Glenelg to take in the wonderful views of Glenelg Beach and jetty! Then check in to hotel in the evening.

Day 3: Adelaide
This morning tour will go to the world renowned Barossa Valley. The Barossa Valley with its Bavarian villages, baroque Italianate Chateaux and stunning vineyard scenery gives a unique mix of Europe in Australia. Then enjoy a relaxing drive through the Adelaide Hills past Historic Mansions to the summit of Mt Lofty for the panoramic view of the City of Churches, visit the beautiful gardens, parks and fine buildings. Thereafter, proceed to German Village in Hahndorf. Its lovely Main Street and many historic stone buildings containing fine art, craft and souvenir shops. Thereafter, we continue on a Victor Harbour to ride famous Horse Drawn tram (own expenses) to Granite Island. From the island, you can see the magnificent ocean view. This evening, you may make you own way to Adelaide Casino to try your luck.

Days 4: Adelaide - Melbourne
Depart Adelaide in the morning travel by coach return to Melbourne via Bordertown and Ballarat, retun to Melbourne in the evening.

  • The above tour fare is based on twin/triple share accommodation with a minimum of 10 people in the group. Deposit $200 person required for booking. Full payment, entrance fee must be collected 2 weeks prior departure. Surcharge $240 per person single share. CHILD FARE SAME AS ADULT. The tour is many conducted in Chinese. The tour guide/driver guide will not repeat commentary in English. The size of vehicle will be determined by the number of passengers, it could be mini, medium or large coach. Additional 2% surcharge applies to all payment with MasterCard and Visa, 3.5% surcharge for Amex and Diners. The above price is only valid for the above departure date. The tour fare do not include airfare, entrance fees, meals, travel insurance, personal expenses and tips. Recommended tups are $5 per person per day for both driver and tour guide.
